I encourage people to discover and own their truest selves, while crafting meaningful lives around their intention.

Talks & Performances

I speak at and perform spoken word poetry in churches, schools, conferences, etc. around my faith journey, social justice, resistance against oppressive power structures, self-definition, and crafting life and art around intention. For booking, please contact me. I'd love to come out and share with your group or organization!

Community Service & Advocacy

I am the Founder of Code In Color, a free coding initiative in partnership with the City of Atlanta and Apple, which introduces coding concepts to targeted underrepresented demographics. I also lead a support group for LGBT teens of faith and advocate for maintaining safe spaces for them in non-affirming communities.

Whether writing poetry, publishing a blog, or giving a talk, I believe in creating content that matters - that our unique stories and perspectives change people and changed people change the world, if we’re courageous and willing enough to tell them. These are mine, and I'll be the first to tell you I haven't figured it all out yet.
